On June 3, 2014 with the participation of the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Igor Shvaika the session of the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations, chaired by the Chairman of the Committee Grygorii Kaletnik took place.

To the consideration of the peoples’ deputies were offered a number of bills, including the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (concerning the abolition of compulsory technical control of tractors, self-propelled agricultural and reclamation machines and agricultural technics)" reg. № 2568a.

This bill is very important as with it’s adoption would be abolished the compulsory technical control of tractors, self-propelled agricultural and reclamation machines, agricultural technics and eliminated inconsistencies in the existing legislation. This will allow agricultural producers to reduce unwarranted expenditure of labor and financial resources, promote the effective implementation of the production process and develop the agriculture.

Peoples’ deputies - members of the Committee unanimously supported this legislative initiative and recommended to the Parliament of Ukraine to pass this bill as a whole, as the Law of Ukraine.

It should be noted that after the meeting of the Committee at the evening plenary session, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as the whole and as the Law of Ukraine the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (concerning the providing of the safe exploitation of agricultural machinery)" reg. № 2609a, which foresee the abolition of compulsory technical control of tractors, self-propelled agricultural and reclamation machines and agricultural technics.

So one more step is made by the Parliament in order to reduce the inflated costs for agrarians and to develop the agricultural sector of the country.
