Today together with all Orthodox world we celebrate an important and bright Christian holiday - Epiphany of the God, which is known as Epiphany. This is one of the most joyful winter holidays of Ukrainian people.

On this day, in remembrance of the christening of Jesus Christ in the waters of Jordan, festive worships take place in the temples ,and then with the cross and prayers the nearest rivers, lakes and wells are sacrified. Since that time, water in them becomes healing and during the year gives health, enthusiasm to people, protects from evil, fills with life-giving energy.

For ages the holiday of Epiphany was for Ukrainian people the source of lightful joy, purification of the soul and strengthen of faith. As a person who believes has a great defense, and a person who believes and has gone through the Sacrament of  Baptism  has a double, unbreakable protection.

I wish God's blessing and grace for all of us, greatness of the spirit, unconquered faith! Let the healing water and ringing of church bells clear all thoughts and wishes, protect us from evil, make us familiar to each other, unite in a friendly family, heal and join our souls, multiply prosperity, happiness and health to every home, family for new achievements for the benefit of Ukraine!
