On April 16, as a part of the working trip of the President of Ukraine to Vinnytsia region, Grygorii Kaletnik attended the meeting with the administrative and economic active members of the region. At the meeting were discussed the issues of the development of local government, improvement of the quality of administrative services, the introduction of reforms in some areas, modernization of business and the creation of appropriate conditions for entrepreneurs, which will provide income of investments to our country.

At this day Grygorii Kaletnik invited the Minister of Education and Science , Dmytro Tabachnyk. He got acquainted with the material and technical base, met with teachers and students. The Minister saw the changes, which happened with the University .This changes are such as strengthening of the material and technical base. The guest has paid special attention on structural changes. According to his words, Vinnytsia National Agrarian University is the first university, which created a new type of educational institution - a scientifically-educational concern.
According to the words of the Minister of Education, Vinnytsia National Agrarian University implements a pilot project and in the future it may become a model of studying and reforms at other universities of the state. This is the way, by which we must go, the way of the development of education and science. The Ministry will analyze what has been done and what still is going to be done at Vinnytsia National Agrarian University with great interest. Our University is a bright example for other higher educational institutions which have a desire to reform their structure.
While other schools are still discussing the possibility of expanding of the autonomy, searching in such way for additional funding, Vinnytsia National Agricultural University is already doing this in practice. The changes were initiated by the President of the University, the deputy of the Verkovna Rada of Ukraine –Grygorii Kaletnik.
University also has a research farm of NAAS in the village Agronomichne. It is located not far from the Campus of the University, what is also important, because the students will spend not so much time on the road and will be directly concentrated on improvement of practical skills in new production areas. There were prepared documents for the Association (based on the cluster) of our institution with the Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar Beet of NAAS.
The President shared his plans with the Minister: in the future, when the production complex will start its functioning; students will manage to work in the fields and farms by themselves. They will get experience in their specialty, not in words, but being responsible for a specific area of work. This approach will enable to gain more practical skills, grow in them sense of responsibility for the assigned work, combine the acquired theoretical knowledge with practice. Expansion of logistics makes University more attractive to potential investors. According to the words of Grygorii Kaletnik, all powerful scientific institutions in the world have such experience of combining science and business.
The new structure will provide a reduced impact of officials at various levels on the University. Institution will receive new funding opportunities; it will have a broader organizational, financial and legal autonomy in dealing with important issues. After all, the President of the University has the right to represent the higher educational institution in government agencies and national organizations, as well as at the international level.
During the meeting with the Minister the issue of the draft Law on Education raised.
- We use the practice, that has developed in the Parliament, - said the Deputy of Ukraine Grygorii Kaletnik , who is one of the authors of one of the draft bills on Education.

– This practice is simple and straightforward – we should take the best of each Law to form an effective document, the implementation of which will lead our education to global standards.
