In the first day of spring a restaurant-hotel complex "Hostevia" gathered in its walls more than three hundred elegantly dressed guests. The sixth annual student ball was organized by the city government. Charming ladies in evening dresses and gallant cavaliers in their best suits whirled easily under the sounds of the Viennese waltz. The program of the evening included the tango, quickstep and more rapid variations of waltz.

The best students of all higher education establishments of the regional center competed for the title of the Queen and King of the ball. Each of them had to show their choreographic skills and impeccable style in the ball at their universities or gain favor in Internet voting. Vinnytsia National Agrarian University was represented by ten couples. Three of them won first places in "Podilskyi ball-2013." They fully agree with the opinion of the President of VNAU Grygorii Kaletnik, which he explained in his greeting speech. “Youthful years are the best time for to master the delicate science of classical dance and art of aristocratic communication – mentioned Grygorii Kaletnik - It's pleasant, that for the second year our students actively participate and show persistence while preparing to "Podolskyj ball", and then show their talents on a city student ball. President of the University wished all the participants to receive success and enjoyment from the dance evening and presented souvenirs to all dancing couples of the Agrarian University.

The right to choose the best dancers was committed to fair judges which consisted from the representatives of media. They estimated the ability of conducting well in the pauses, as well as the style of dress, hairstyle and manner of communication. It's pleasant that the King of the ball became the sophomore of Technology-Industrial College of VNAU Victor Palamarchuk. Despite the fact that he is only 17, he is an experienced member of the social events. This year, he won the first place at the ball in college and represented his college for the second time in the city ball. Victor dances since 11 and believes that a classical suit is able to change the essence of the man - it makes him more gallant and romantic. The King of the ball was the only one, who wore a traditional tailcoat.
