"With such rich resources of fertile lands we have all opportunities to realize a proper development of rural areas and essentially improve way of life of their inhabitants."

The deputy Grygorii Kaletnik together with the scientists of Vinnitsa National Agrarian University elaborated a program for the development of rural land. For its realization in each of the 27 districts of Vinnytsia region will be created training and practical Extension Centers. The first two were presented on the basis of Colleges of Vinnitsa National Agrarian University in Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Nemyriv.

Vice-presidents, directors of educational-scientific institutes, deans of the faculties took part in the meeting, which are responsible for a particular direction of work in coordination of the program. Today the responsible for economic direction is Director of Educational-Scientific Institute of Agricultural Economics, Professor and Doctor of Economic Sciences - Oleg Moroz, responsible for the elaboration of the general plans of the territorial development is Director of Educational-Scientific Institute of Management, Professor and Doctor of Economic Sciences - Anatolyi Mazur. The implementation of social development of areas will coordinate Dean of the Faculty of Management - Victoria Tsihanovska.

- “We put a task to use scientific potential for the revival of rural areas, particularly with the aim to raise the employment of population. Our main aims are: the creation of production and service cooperatives, restoring of livestock industry with the way of reconstruction of the shared property, support of small commodity farms. In such a way the society will have the opportunity to receive informational and consulting services” - says Grygorii Kaletnik.

According to his words, the leading educational establishments should contribute to the development of the areas in which it is located. "Our intensions are supported by the regional organs of power - continues Grygorii Mykolayovych - We have joined our forces with the possibilities of the regional organs of power, so we believe to achieve positive results."

The document was presented to the heads of the local communities of the areas mentioned above. Speakers positively reacted to the possibility of combining scientific achievements with practical affairs in the directions of the complex development of rural territories.

- “ Scientists have come to us on their own initiative - says the Chairman of Administration of Mohyliv - Podilskyi district , Mykhailo Vdovzov - We express our sincere gratitude and respect to them”

He also notified, that the state administration has announced a competition for the best proposition of the development of rural territories of the region.

- “We must save our villages from the decline, so they wouldn’t die and people wouldn’t suffer living in them - said Grygorii Kaletnik. – “After a detailed analysis of the situation, we are going to make proposals for elaboration of the documents of financial security in rural areas and adopt them at the state level. The communities should have financial resources for the development of social sector and the villages will be provided with everything necessary for life activity of its inhabitants. That is why the proposed program is a complex document.”

The deputy reminded that today one hectare of agricultural land gives at the average one thousand hryvnias of profit. If from each hectare we allocate 100-120 UAH for the development of rural areas, in the country in general, the profit will be 3-3.5 billion UAH.
