Yarovenko Vasylyna Antonivna celebrated her 90-th anniversary on 5 March, 2013. At the given moment Vasylyna Antonivna has 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, who often visit her. She was glad to see them also on Victory Day. Vasylyna Antonivna began her battle way in 1942 at 64 commandant's office of rear defensive line from the city Iksha of Demytriv district and completed it in Estonia at the rank of a first sergeant. She’s awarded with the Order of the Great Patriotic War and numerous medals. After the war, for a long time she had various jobs, but until the present day she finds consolation in her favorite hobby - needlework. Her husband, Mykola Omelianovych was a senior sergeant and artilleryman. He was awarded with two Orders of Glory, with an order of the Red Star and many other medals. He was a participant of the Victory Parade in 1945 in Moscow .Unfortunately he passed away 15 years ago.

The people’s deputy Grygorii Kaletnik congratulated a respected woman with an anniversary. He respects and pays a great attention to the veterans of Great Patriotic War. Vasylyna Antonivna expressed her gratitude to the people’s deputy and wished him good health, God's blessings for good deeds and beginnings.
